I hadn't planned on entering the Egg Beaters Mother's Day Photo contest, but something told me that it would be a great opportunity to share one of my favorite pictures.
This photograph was taken very candidly while I happened to be standing in front of a window. The quality of the photo isn't the greatest, but it nonetheless turned out beautifully and really expresses how tender, fragile and loved Miss M was as a newborn.
We spent so many years wanting a child and having difficulty getting there. Almost eight years of the unbelievable desire, emotional roller coasters and ultimately, the greatest high.

What a great picture choice. So innocent, real and raw, the quality is fine. Seeing a teeny tiny precious baby almost make same think "aww I want one of those again someday". I'm not sure if someday or almost is the key word there, lol. Miss M was a gorgeous baby!
This is a gorgeous photo! Isn't it amazing how teensy they are when they start out? It's hard to believe that was only two years ago for me. It seems like so long ago, and yet the time has gone so quickly. Thanks for sharing such a lovely shot.
Very nice picture of mother and baby! There is such a wide variety of entries!
Such an amazing pic! I love the new baby with the happy mama. You look beautiful!
Excellent choice of picture. I hope you do well in the contest. Your baby is very cute too :)
That is a wonderful pic. It really shows the beauty of new like and the connection between mother and child.
Amazing picture. Wow.
Such a beautiful photo. Since I'm also having trouble having a child, I'd love to hear your story sometime if it's not too painful.
I am stunned into silence (and that's not easy) this photo is absolutely stunning!

That is just a wonderful picture! All the more, because it was unscripted.
What a beautiful picture - I can't believe how tiny she is there!

jskell911 - The unscripted part of it is what made it special for me. We took a lot of pictures, but those candid ones mean the most!
Wheresthebox - Tiny, yes. Easy delivery, no. Makes no sense to me!
Baby wont sleep - She was very fragile then and I was certain that I would break her!
Dangit. I hate it when I make mistakes.
jskell911 - Link fixed! Sorry!
Liz - I had your link right, just your name goofed! So this time I used your name and your review link. :)
It took me 7 years to get pregnant with my son, so I understand the pain of wanting a child and also the elation when you discover you are finally pregnant. Its a tender, beautiful photo.
